Angela Bacon knew she wanted to be a writer at the age of six and spent much of her childhood playtime creating stories ranging in topics from crime-solving children to a thirty-book series involving “The Land of Falling Art Supplies.” Her parents graciously visited her homemade library on the basement couch and allowed her to post a sign on her bedroom door that stated, “Do not disturb. Writing in progress. Please pass notes under the door.”
Bacon holds a B.A. in English from Cedarville University. A long-time believer in the power of alternative health treatments, she began writing the first chapter of Illegally Innocent (then called Smuggling) during her final semester at Cedarville. When she’s not busy writing, Bacon can be found serving customers at her local grocery store, tap dancing, reading suspense novels, and disorganizing her office. Her all-time favorite books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (which she based her “Land of Falling Art Supplies” stories on), and The Westing Game. She resides in the Midwest with her fantastic husband, Michael.
